Logo and brand designCovington, Mandeville & the Northshore

A logo and brand that look right on a truck door, a business card, and a phone screen.

A logo has to work small on a phone, large on a sign, and in one color on a shirt. GatorByte designs an original logo and brand mark, picks colors and fonts to go with it, and carries all of it through your website, business cards, and marketing material, so everything looks like it came from the same business.

Who it is for

  • New businesses that need a logo before or alongside their first website
  • Owners with a DIY or template logo that blurs or looks off when printed
  • Businesses that only have the logo as a low-resolution image, with no original file
  • Companies redesigning their website and wanting the brand refreshed with it

What brand design can include

  • An original logo and brand mark
  • A color palette and font pairing that work on screen and in print
  • Logo files for web, print, and social, including vector versions
  • The brand carried into your website design
  • Business cards, designed and print-ready
  • Marketing material: flyers, social graphics, and print collateral

Logo and brand design is an add-on to a GatorByte website, quoted up front once we understand what you need. Business cards and marketing material are quoted the same way.

Questions

Logo and brand design: common questions.

Do I need a logo before I get a website?

No. We can design the logo first and build the site around it, or build the site with a clean text treatment of your name and add a logo later.

Can you clean up the logo I already have?

Often, yes. If your logo only exists as a small or blurry image, it can usually be redrawn as a clean vector file that prints sharply. That is quoted up front like any other add-on.

Do I own my logo?

Under our terms, once the project is paid in full you own the custom design elements created specifically for your project.

Do you handle trademarks?

No. We design the logo, but trademark searches and registration are legal work. If protecting the mark matters to you, talk with a trademark attorney before you commit to a final design.

How much does a logo cost?

It depends on what you need, a logo alone or a fuller set with cards and marketing material, so we quote it up front after a short conversation. There are no surprise charges after the quote.
