An admin panel that knows what you have, what is booked, and what is free on any date.
Rental companies, venues, and caterers lose hours to the same questions: do we have enough for that date, did the deposit come in, what goes out on Saturday. Off-the-shelf booking tools cover part of it, but rarely your delivery rules, deposits, or turnaround days. GatorByte builds the panel around your stock and your rules and connects it to your website, so customers see real availability and you run the business from one screen.

How it works
Inventory and reservation systems, step by step.
01
Count what you rent
We list your items, quantities, and prices, and the rules you follow today: deposits, delivery, turnaround, and blackout dates.
02
Model the stock
Items, bookings, and dates are structured so the website and the panel read the same live numbers.
03
Build both sides
The customer booking flow and your admin screens are built together, with weekly checkpoints.
04
Load and launch
We load your real inventory, test bookings end to end, then support and refine the system after launch.
Price
Inventory and reservation systems are quoted per project, with a fixed scope agreed before the build. They usually sit behind a GatorByte website, and hosting and support for the panel are quoted with the build.
Questions
Inventory and reservation systems: common questions.
What have you built with inventory and reservations?
Rider Event Rentals in Covington runs on one. Customers pick a date and see how many of each piece are free, then send a reservation request; the owner approves it before a 50% deposit locks in the date. The staff console manages items, photos, prices, payments, and bookings, holds the days on either side of each booking for delivery and cleaning, and puts every booking on the owner's Google Calendar.
Why not use an off-the-shelf booking app?
If one fits your business, it can be the cheaper choice, and we will tell you so. Custom makes sense when your rules do not fit the app: delivery priced by ZIP code, turnaround days between rentals, approval before a deposit, or stock shared across packages. A custom panel also lives on your own website instead of sending customers to someone else's.
Can customers pay online?
Where it fits, yes. On the Rider site the owner approves each request first, and then a deposit locks in the date; cash, check, Venmo, and payment-link payments are all recorded in the console. How payments work for your business is decided during scoping.
Can my staff use it?
Yes. Staff get their own logins, and you decide what each person can see and change. For example, staff can manage bookings and inventory while prices and deposit settings stay owner-only.
How much does an inventory and reservation system cost?
It depends on how many items, rules, and screens you need, so it is quoted per project with a fixed scope before any build starts. If you also need a website, it is quoted alongside.
